Spotlight on Transformation Expert - Gregory

Greg has been with the DVCC for 18 months and during that time he has gone from strength to strength (quite literally) Not only has he progressed from being a Transformation Expert, to Client Experience Manager of Northampton to becoming the Client Experience Manager of Hitchin, one of our brand new Transformation Centres. He is also, at the time of this post the current holder of the DVCC Trainer Challenge Title.10382236_1751428445090696_6764122116079518063_o.jpgBefore Greg joined the DVCC he was an employee at Costa coffee, and although the majority of the DVCC team enjoy a coffee this is not how we found him. Greg was spotted while training. Its hard not to spot Greg when he trains, although he isn't the tallest man in the world, he makes up for that with the weight he lifts, he is a strong individual, highly competitive and always looking to improve himself.

When Greg first started working at DVCC he arrived at the Bedford centre almost everyday for the first week with a headache. This was an exercise induced headache, as he had been taking his squats to the limit with a program he was then doing. He was quiet and thoughtful, but given time he found his voice, and with that voice he started telling Nathan another Transformation expert of the DVCC about how much weight he could lift. 

Nathan was skeptical as he knew that many people can add the odd 20kg here and there when talking about their maximum lifts. But Greg wasn’t playing around, he had been working hard and was telling the truth. Surprised as he was Nathan learnt a lesson that day.

Clients that have the pleasure of being trained by Greg will tell you that he doesn't let them get away with much (especially leaving the dumbbells in a mess cough OCD), but always knows their limits, and how to push those limits. He is caring and understanding, and will do his upmost to make sure that clients always enjoy their training, but leave knowing that they've been worked hard.

Whenever we are in the process of looking for new Transformation Experts the whole team have the chance to interview the potential candidates. Greg’s first question is usually asked with a straight face: “what is your max weight Squat and Deadlift”. 

Greg is super organised and likes to know whats happening. He is a thinker and a planner. His knowledge on a good spreadsheet is almost unrivalled and earned him the nickname Gregsheet.

Greg spent time at University studying Sports Science and therefore has a great understanding of everything that makes an Exceptional Transformation Expert.
