We've found that members who commit to attending a session are dramatically more likely to turn up if they booked in advance. 

 

I'm sure you're aware that planning ahead is a crucial element of our lives. It's something we do for many areas of our lives without even thinking about it - booking a holiday in advance, scheduling a social appointment, or even just making a grocery list. So why do we treat our exercise routine any differently?

At the DVCC we believe that booking your exercise sessions in advance is a beautifully simple, yet powerful tool in helping you achieve your fitness goals. This is especially important if you're in the first few years of your fitness journey and still forming a healthy exercise habit. This is the most vital factor to your health at this stage, and booking your sessions ahead of time can help you establish this habit. How can you expect to build a habit if you're never there!?

When you book your exercise sessions a month in advance, the chances of you following through are significantly higher. Of course, life can sometimes get in the way, and you may not be able to attend every session. However, by virtue of being booked in, you're already back on track for the next session without a second thought. You haven't broken the habit.

For many, you're not thinking about the gym unless you're at the gym. You MIGHT book in at the end of your session if the Trainer prompts you but otherwise you're happy to head home and try your best to forget the gym ever existed - we get it.

We encourage you to start prioritising your health and fitness today by booking your exercise sessions in advance. One step, one small change that makes the world of difference in the long-term. It's even more effective if you're booked in with someone, such as a trainer or a friend. This adds to the accountability you'll feel to turn up and it can also make your workouts more enjoyable.
