"I wasn't happy with my body...": Rob's Journey at The DVCC

After leading a rather sedentary lifestyle of frequent takeaways, bad food choices and little exercise, Rob became unhappy with his body and general outlook on life...

He had joined 'normal' gyms before, however was still not seeing the results that he REALLY wanted... That was until Rob came to The DVCC 6 months ago!

Now, he is in the fittest shape of his life, training regularly and constantly pushing personal bests. His clothes are fitting better and his self esteem has improved, meaning that Rob can once again feel proud about his body!

 


"Rob Jones, 45, I’ve been coming to The DVCC for 6 months.

I’d put on a lot of weight, I’d become very complacent. I wasn’t very happy with my body so I wanted to do something about it. I’d been going to ‘normal gyms’ for quite a while and not seen the results I wanted.

Now i feel a lot healthier, I think I look a lot better compared to what I did 6/7 months ago. My clothes are fitting better, I’m feeling a lot better in myself, better self esteem.

You feel exhilarated, yeah like you’ve achieved something. You’ve definitely achieved something when you come here for those 50 minutes.

Like I say, you only have to get yourself here, once you get here, they do the rest."
