Why Jade Thinks The DVCC "At Twice The Price Is A Bargain"

Before starting at the DVCC Jade couldn't walk for 15 meters without feeling like he needed to sit down and take a rest and walking in the street in his words made him "feel vulnerable".

Jade has a very busy work life. He works in I.T and sometimes does 40-60 hours a month additional hours on top of his contracted hours.

Jade hadn't been exercising because of the amount of time he was required to work. Being in an I.T roll, he would be sitting at the computer for long periods of time.

"I've really managed my work/life balance badly and I've done no exercise"

During the course of the last 4 years Jade had put on almost a stone each year. This prompted him to try various diets, which unfortunately didn't get him the results he craved.

"I went on 2 or 3 diets and ended up weighing more"

Time For Change

Jade works with Doctors and he requested that they did some blood work as he suffers with c.o.p.d (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) since working in the mines and smoking for some years. He wanted to get a prognosis on how he was looking health wise.

The information he received in regards to his health was:

"If you carry on, on this route, the way your blood is looking you're probably not going to last 4-5 years"

Jade knew that he needed to make the change. His breathing was causing concern and he decided to get in contact with the DVCC.

When he spoke with one of the DVCC team he said:

"If I die on the floor here, don't worry, I'm happy to go like this, trying hard. I'm tired of being in this body"

Jade's Chest Would Regularly Close Up

One of Jade's biggest fears was that his c.o.p.d would restrict him from being able to exercise. He was using Ventolin (steroid inhalers) at the time of joining the DVCC, and his chest would regularly just close up and tighten even when he was sitting at his desk relatively inactive.

"I was using brown pump in the morning and evening and blue pump maybe 4 or 5 times a day"

Blue and brown pumps are references to 2 types of Ventolin inhalers

The first two and a half weeks were difficult, adapting to the exercise and also finding where his limits were in regards to breathing. Since then, Jade has come on leaps and bounds and is hardly using his medication at all.

"I used to have to pick up a new pump once a week, sometimes 3 times a month. I haven't picked up a new pump in a month and a half. I'm hardly using medication at all"

I'm Buying Myself An Extra 8 Or 9 Years

Jade has a 4 year old son. Who is now also enjoying the benefit of his fathers significant improvements in health and fitness.

"The respect from him when I play with him, he grabs my leg and he hugs me, and its so rewarding because I wasn't able to do that until now"

Jade had been to gyms before, and seen personal trainers looking at their watch and twiddling their fingers.

He compared this to the way the Transformation Experts guide him at the DVCC and he said:

"you guys are traipsing up and down, you're here behind me, you're there ahead of me, my eyes are closed I hear your voice your watching what I'm doing, telling me to get up, what im doing next and how to go about it"

Jade is now into his 3rd month at the DVCC and is still thriving and making progress.

When I asked him about how he values the DVCC he said:

"At twice the price its a bargain and I'm obsessed with money. I'm buying myself another 8 or 9 years. Put a price on that!"
