Should I Do An Obstacle Race?

Case Study, Weight loss

hilaryThats the question we get asked a lot. Am I fit enough? Will I get hurt? But I can't run! Oftentimes clients won't listen to us, as we are foreever positive....So here is Hilary on how her first 5k Mud Run went!!

I was afraid my knee & ankle wouldn't hold up and I go back to having to rebuild them and my confidence yet again.

Running with Lindsey and Scott and two other ladies was great we all encouraged it other and were really supportive. Even though I did end up with a minor injury I am so glad that I took part the sense of personal accomplishment is second to none.

I know that a year ago I wasn't in shape to do this with my injuries.

I wasn't totally convinced that I could this time. The incentive was to surprise Scott which was accomplished but I also ended up surprising myself.

I have always been a fighter, but a year ago I didn't think I would ever play netball again, and I have started this season.

I have never run 5k ever and I accomplished it with obstacles. It might not have been a fast time but I don't care I did it. Mind you, I didn't listen to my husband to be careful and messed up our wedding anniversary plans for the following day but I can honestly say it was worth it!!

So glad I found you guy.

Do you feel intimidated by normal gyms?

The big box impersonal gyms leave you feeling awkward, and lacking motivation to lose weight and get fit.

The Training Gyms is for men and women who want to lose weight, get fit but don't want to do it in a normal big box gym.

We know it's important. We just don't know where to start.
