MENOPAUSE TIP #2 - WHY MAGNESIUM CAN HELP YOU

- Hey, this is Mark from the DVCC, and I'm going to give you another quick tip if you are about to go through the menopause, are going through the menopause, or have gone through the menopause, or in fact know anyone else that is experiencing it, because like I've said in a previous video, we've had a lot of experience with helping our clients through this time of their life, and we know what a huge change just a few little things of knowledge or a few little natural supplements can actually do. Even if you are on HRT or not on HRT, these little tips could help, and one of them is to supplement with magnesium. Now, we've talked about magnesium a lot for all of our clients, however, it's super important if you are going through the menopause or have just gone through it, because it is a stressful time. Your body depletes your magnesium levels as you're going through the menopause, and therefore, that's even more than it naturally does anyway, so you therefore need to supplement with magnesium to basically top up your levels. With low levels of magnesium you become more insulin resistant which means you're more prone to store belly fat, a lot of women do experience that, that they store more fat around their stomachs. You're also not able to handle stress as well when your magnesium is depleted. Now, that can be environmental stress, children, family, but you might find that you become more short-tempered, and that is one of the side effects of becoming magnesium-deficient, and all you need to do is supplement with a good magnesium chelate. That is a magnesium chelate, which means it is attached to something else. The reason you want a chelate is because you will absorb it better when it is attached to, I think a molecule, than if it's just by itself. So make sure you check your magnesium out, but do look into supplementing with magnesium. It's a natural supplement, it will help you sleep, but it will also help you handle stress and also go through the menopause far easier with far less side effects.
