Why You Should Eat Grass Fed Meat [In Under 100 Words]

coconutGrass fed beef is going to become the new buzzword for health food. Who wants to eat meat that has been pumped full of hormones to keep it alive?

Here is the skinny (it will help with fat loss!) on grass-fed meat:

  • Grass-Fed meat contains higher omega-3 fats (the good fat-burning fats) than its grain fed friends.
  • Grass-Fed meat does not generally have to be given antibiotics to stay alive. Cows are not designed to eat grain and soy (normal feeding practices) and therefore often become ill. They require steroids to keep them alive, and make the manufacturer profit.
  • Grass-Fed meat contains less omega-6 fats. Its said that the human body already gets far to much of this fatty acid already. 
  • Grass-Fed meat is naturally lower in fat than grain (normal) fed animals.
