Struggle With Weight Loss And Lack The Motivation To Exercise Due To Injury? Here Is How To Regain Your Mojo!

Case Study, Nutrition, Injury, Weight loss

Matthew: Hello, this is Matthew from the DVCC and I’m here with Paddy Kennedy. I’m just going to you a few questions, hopefully to get an insight into how you’ve got such great results.

Paddy

So Paddy, if you could introduce yourself please, tell us how old are you and how long you have been at the DVCC?

Paddy: I’m Paddy Kennedy, I’m age 49 and I’ve been at the DVCC 8 weeks, right?

Matthew: Yes, a little bit over 8 weeks, 8-9 weeks - awesome. Good Paddy; so if you could just tell us please what progress you have made since you’ve been at the DVCC?

Paddy: Progress I’ve made is I’ve lost 11.7lbs in body fat.

Matthew: Fantastic. 11.7lbs in 8 weeks is amazing.

So Paddy, so if you could tell us please, what have been any difficulties you have had, as I’m sure there are literally thousands of people who have been in the same position as you were? Prior to the DVCC, what were the difficulties?

Paddy: Weight: lethargic; fitness. I’ve been an awful lot better since I’ve started, lost a lot of weight and been better in myself.

Matthew: Obviously you had your injuries.

Paddy: 14 weeks, with the injury to my left hand.

Matthew: So what were your struggles with weight loss before you joined the DVCC?

Paddy: Diet. Wrong diet, stress and lack of exercise.

Matthew: So had you tried losing weight before?

Paddy: Yes, on and off.

Matthew: How did that go?

Paddy: It didn’t really, didn’t go really too good. I might lose a couple of pounds, then I’d put another couple of pounds back on because my diet was rubbish. It’s knowing what to eat and what not to eat. This is why you helped me out quite a lot.

Matthew: Before the DVCC, had you done any other diets, set diets?

Paddy: Slimming World, Weight Watchers; but never really stuck to it.

Matthew: So what does your lifestyle look like now, compared to before the DVCC?

Paddy: Lifestyle is 100% better. Eating the right food, drinking the right drinks.

Matthew: So you don’t feel as lethargic as you did previously?

Paddy: No I don’t feel lethargic, I sorted all my clothes out on Sunday, threw away the clothes that didn’t fit me, which made me feel good. I need to go and buy new clothes now!

Matthew: New wardrobe!

Paddy: Yes

Matthew: Ok Paddy, so how has the DVCC helped you personally?

Paddy: Oh brilliant, 100% helped me out. I’ve still got a few injuries, a few problems I’m going through, but my fitness is better, my health’s better, I’m not lethargic, I’m feeling better in myself. Can’t fault this 100% - brilliant.

New Call-to-action

Matthew: Fantastic, glad you’re enjoying it. So do you have any specific tips, with regard to nutrition and exercise, that you could share with anyone listening, that you felt has worked for you specifically?

Paddy: Yes I could do, definitely, yes. Because you learn more; I’ve learnt more stuff here than I managed to do in a gym before, because you’ve got one on one training and it helps you better, you learn better things and better tips.

Matthew: So what tips would you give people: say if someone asked you about the DVCC, what would you say would be the three things that helped you the most?

Paddy: My fitness, my diet and better in myself.

Matthew: Fantastic. So what was the obstacle that stopped you from starting training with the DVCC, or training altogether, beforehand?

Paddy: It probably was not knowing the right thing to do. I was training but didn’t know whether I was doing it right. Being here and training, and obviously training one on one, you get taught how to do the exercises properly, and it helps.

Matthew: So with that as well, so obviously you had your injury on your arm: were you training with that before you were at the DVCC or were you unsure what you could or couldn’t do?

Paddy: Not training really, wasn’t a question what to do with it: I was restricted really in what I could do and what I couldn’t do. Just got to build it up now.

Matthew: We worked round it, didn’t we?

Paddy: Oh yes, definitely. I’ve just got to work on my neck now.

Matthew: Baby steps, one thing at a time.

Paddy: Yes.

Matthew: So what have you found as a result of starting the Real You transformation process? That being everything that we do; the progress trackers, the metabolic damage solution, the sessions.

Paddy: My weight’s gone down, my fitness has gone up; I feel stronger in myself and it’s all through the programme that we’re doing.

Matthew: So what excites you most about the Real You transformation process? What aspects of the DVCC do you enjoy doing the most?

Paddy: I love it; I enjoy the lot, enjoy it all. It’s the best thing I ever did: as for fitness, my health and feeling good – it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Well done, the DVCC.

Matthew: Thank you Paddy! So would you recommend the DVCC? If so, why?

Paddy: Because you get good service. You get the right information about what to do to, how to exercise properly and help you lose weight and get fit.

Matthew: Is there anything you’d like to add, Paddy, before we close?

Paddy: I’d just like to say thanks to the DVCC for everything, and long may it continue.

Matthew: Thank you very much Paddy, I hope you found this interview helpful. Please comment below with any questions and we will get back to you. This is Matthew from the DVCC Northampton; thank you very much.
