Hi! This is Mark Gray from the DoubleVision Conditioning Centre. So today I’m going to give you just one of the reasons people stop making progress.

Stopping What You Were Doing Results in Stopping Progress
Now we see a lot of clients obviously experience or have experienced this in the past. Basically, one of the top reasons that people stop seeing progress is
because they stop doing what they have been doing that has helped them get to where they are.

The Naughty Meal
Now, often, a lot of people, they may have changed their breakfast or they eat well in a week and then they have a “naughty” meal in the weekend. But what they find is that these things start creeping into their weeks. So that naughty meal on a Sunday night might also then start happening on a Saturday. And then people kind of lose track or put in the back of their mind what the small changes that they’re reverting to and going back to are happening. So they don’t realize that their progress starts slowing down or stopping, but they don’t realize or they’re not conscious of the way they’re going back to how they used to be.

What Are You Starting to Revert to?
So an action step for you now is just if your progress has stopped or is stalling, just kind of think actually what are you starting to revert. Are you starting to  eat more and cakes in the week that you perhaps wouldn’t do, you’d refuse them from your work colleagues? But now you’re kind of having one or two here and there. Like you’d probably think to yourself, it’s only here and there, but all these little things add up. So just try and be conscious of these little things.
