Josh:   Hi there, this is Josh from the DVCC and I’m back with another client with her top 3 tips on how she has achieved her great results. I’m sat here with DVCC Bedford client, Katrina Tibbetts, who I’ve just done a progress tracker with, and has now *lost over 21lbs of fat in 3 months, which is fantastic results.

I’m here so she can share her top 3 tips that may help you with your results. So Katrina, could you give me your first tip, please?

Katrina:    I think it was learning to eat protein first when I had my meal, because that’s something I never used to do, I used to save it till last.

Josh:   Ok, so what kind of proteins do you generally have with your meal? Have you got any favourites?

Katrina:   Bacon… lamb is my favourite, so sort of lamb, chicken, beef, turkey – I do actually eat quite a range of different meats.

Josh:   Good, so if you are starting to feel full, you’ll prioritise your protein over other things on your plate.

Katrina:   Yes.

Josh:   Perfect. And your second tip for me please.

Katrina:    Learning what good fats are, you know, that you can eat nuts and even butter isn’t bad for you. And just learning what you can eat, in fats, which is good for you.

Josh:   Ok – so, talk to me about maybe some of your favourite meals and how you incorporate some good fats into those meals.

Katrina:   My favourite meals are probably my evening meals and, yes, sometimes it’s just doing like a Bolognese with a little bit of cheese on top, to get my good fats; I don’t normally have carbs with that; I may have a bit of salad but I don’t have pasta or anything with that.

Josh:   Awesome – and again your number 3 tip for me please?

Katrina:   Regular training - and the fact that the training is half an hour, you can actually give it a lot more than you can if you do an hour’s worth of training.

Josh:   Good – so how many times do you train a week?

Katrina:   I train at the DVCC 4 times a week and I run twice a week.
