Why Community Matters - Raj's Journey at DVCC

When Raj first thought about joining a gym, just as many of us do, she thought she was just looking for weight loss, to build muscle tone…

She had tried gyms in the past and was always left with that 'isolating' feeling, where other clients wouldn't speak to each other and the 'trainers' would spend more time just lingering than actually helping. As such as was always too anxious to ask people if she was doing something right or not...

 


BUT THOSE DAYS ARE GONE!

What Raj didn't expect to find was a community of likeminded people who all want to help support her achieve her goals and who genuinely care about her.

As she now has a personal trainer on hand at all times and someone she feels relaxed around. If she ever is in need of a little advice, we're always there to help give it to her!

Now Raj  has that community support that she was lacking and is constantly trying new things and heading towards her goals. 

Her newly found friends even meet up with outside of the gym and create new memories together!
