WHY & HOW TO BE KINDER

TO YOURSELF THIS YEAR

21-1

It's been a tough, worrying and strange year for us all...

Not just in the UK, but globally.

We've had to distance from our friends and family, our routines have had to change and we've overcome a whirlwind of emotions.....

Although it's been tough, we know this year has also made us appreciate things we may have forgot to appreciate.... including ourselves...

"You are stronger than you ever knew"

As we approach a New Year and start to set our 'New Goals' - at The DVCC we want to share how and why to be kinder to yourself this year, ready for a positive year of you reaching your health and fitness goals....

....

WHY SHOULD YOU BE KINDER TO YOURSELF

Just like we said above, it's already been a tough year and when that clock strikes midnight on the 31st, we don't want you to put lot's of pressure on yourself to 'MAKE A CHANGE!" or "I've got to change this year". Yes, you may want to improve on your health and fitness, but setting yourself strict goals with set deadlines, may not be what you need and can often lead to disappointment and frustration...

Instead...

We want to look at your health and fitness as a whole.
Physically and mentally...

Don't get us wrong, we're still going to help you achieve your goals, but we want to it in a sustainable way that allows you to be kinder to yourself...

Here's how...

HOW TO BE KINDER TO YOURSELF THIS YEAR 😆

1. Set Goals, But Don't Go MAD:
Of course, set some goals or intentions, but unrealistic goals set after enjoying your Christmas, will only put extra pressure on yourself, which we certainly don't need this year. Ensure your goals are achievable and won't mean running yourself to the ground. If you'd like help with setting some goals, your trainers are here to help you with this!

2. Join in on our 30 Day Wellness Challenge:
We want to look out for your whole wellbeing. Not just physically, but mentally too. When we learn to have happier, more positive thoughts, it put's us in good stead for being able to overcome physical challenges too! By adopting our daily habits in this challenge, could really help. From decluttering, to some healthier food substitutes, we hope to help you integrate these simple, achievable habits into your life for good.

3. DO things you LOVE everyday:
Whatever this may be... 2021 is the year for doing the things you LOVE. Seeing your family, hopping on Zoom to see your DVCC friends, reading a book, have that warm bath, baking your favourite cake... JUST DO IT!

Lastly, WE'RE HERE.

We are here to help you wholey this year. We're here to support your health and fitness goals. We're here to be your safe space where you forget about all your worries. We're here to give you that spring in your step for the day. We are here.

From all of us at The DVCC.

Thank you for being the greatest community.

Thank you for all your hard work this year and for being with us.

It's going to be a great year and we will stand by you, through it all.

Very best wishes

Team DVCC

Do you feel intimidated by normal gyms?

The big box impersonal gyms leave you feeling awkward, and lacking motivation to lose weight and get fit.

The Training Gyms is for men and women who want to lose weight, get fit but don't want to do it in a normal big box gym.

We know it's important. We just don't know where to start.
