Hi! This is Mark from TheDVCC.com

You Can’t Be Angry and Grateful at the Same Time
In today’s video, I’m going to tell you how you can get rid of any anger you have. So, we’ve been identifying the important character traits to have to get a great transformation, and we’ve identified, we’ve made a graphic of them and we put them up on our blog on one of our podcasts. But what was clearly identified is that you can’t have anger and gratitude in the same person. So you can’t be angry and grateful at the same time, which means that if you don’t want to be angry, you simply have to be grateful.

So there are different methods to help achieve this, but one of them is to simply write down a grateful log. So write down, at the end of the day, the three things that you are grateful for, things that have happened to you that day. Now a lot of people, when they’re going through stressful situations, they go, “Oh, there’s nothing I can be grateful for. Everything is bad, it’s going wrong. It’s all going wrong!” But this is, I’m sure – and I know this from personal experience. Obviously, we’ve got our family and we speak to our family and friends and get them to do this. And even through the darkest times that feel like the darkest times, there are still things that you can be grateful for. It might well be that you’re grateful that you are able to have food on the table, that you actually have a roof over your head or whatever. It might seem trivial or small, but realistically, there are many people without those things and they would be grateful if they had them.

So, you need to just identify what you’re grateful for. Simply jot it down. And then, you’re going to find that by being more grateful, more things such that you are grateful for will happen. But also, you’re going to find that you’re not as angry because you can’t be angry and grateful at the same time. So, try this. Write down the three things that you’re grateful for at the end of each day, and you’ll soon find that better things will be happening to you and you’ll be enjoying life more.
