Diets is probably the word I hear most from new clients.

“I was on this diet, or this diet didn’t work for me..Or I’m sick of being on diets!”.

Luckily at The DoubleVision Conditioning Centre we don’t put our clients on them..

But check out this short video on how you can return to good health after being on a diet just in case you have been on one.

Mark:     Hi, this is Mark from TheDVCC TV, and today I’m going to give you a little tip if you have ever had a very bad experience with a diet.  So, I often meet with people, and, and they tell me that they’ve had a really bad experience with a diet, and they don’t ever want to go on one ever again, which is great because we don’t actually deal with diets at TheDVCC TV at all. However, I want to give you a quick tip if you’ve had a bad experience.

Now oftentimes, the experience is that you’ve been given a strict regime you’ve followed it for probably two weeks, and then you’ve fallen off the wagon completely, and then you put on the weight and you actually feel worse than you did before.

I was actually looking at The Biggest Loser study, you know, the TV program, and actually, it a fun things really, like 90% of the people that have lost the weight within three years have actually put it back on and more. And that’s because they’re not focusing on their habits that enable them to keep the weight off, which is the most  super important, because realistically, most of us don’t want to lose a lot of weight and keep it off for three years and then put it all back on and more for the rest of our lives, do we?  So, we need to form the habits.

Now, the important thing is that if you’ve been on a diet, you don’t want to go back and restrict for yourself.  So I quick tip is focus on a really, really, really small change in your nutrition, it’s not even nutrition really that will actually help you make better choices in the long run and that is simply to drink water.

Wake up in the morning and the first thing you should put in your mouth is a water, have a glass of water, and then make sure that you are hydrated throughout the day, because oftentimes hunger is associated or misconceived as dehydration.  And if you’re dehydrated, you’re going to feel hungry, whereas if you’re not, you more than likely won’t.

So, make sure that you’re drinking at least two to four liters a day, and make that the one thing that you do for now and the next 21 days, and you’ll find that it will actually have a positive effect on you, and you’ll even lose weight just by drinking water.

Test it, let me know what you think, let me know if it works for you, it will but I’d love to hear back from you.  As always, the conversation continues over at TheDVCC.com, so go there, leave a comment now, let me know how you’ve got on but just increasing your water, and I’ll be pleased to put things to speak with you there.  This is Mark from TheDVCC TV.
