Fat Burning Stair Workout You Can Do Anywhere!

It can be easy to get into the mindset that you always need to be heading into the gym to be working out… But sometimes life just doesn't make that possible.

Not to worry though! Just because you can't make it to the gym, that doesn’t mean you can’t workout in the comfort of your very own home! In fact, you might be surprised by how much you can achieve with a simple set of stairs!

For those days where time doesn’t seem to be on your side, these stair exercises can act as a great addition to your day. By spending just 15-20 minutes doing these, you will be giving your body an entire workout worthy of any gym session!

 

 

Here’s an example of a simple routine you can follow:

1) Tricep Dips x2min 

*30 Second Rest

2)Step Ups x 1 on each leg min

*30 Second Rest

3) Press ups x2min

*30 Second Rest

4) Back foot Split Squat x 1 min on each leg

*30 Second rest

*Repeat once

If any of the exercises feel a little out of your comfort zone or too difficult, use on of the regressions provided instead to avoid injuring yourself. Also remember to take rests whenever you need them.

Finally, be careful when working out on stairs, before starting any type of stair exercise, make sure you are steady on your feet. If you cannot stand on one leg for 45 seconds without holding onto something, you may not be able to safely do some of these exercises. Instead, revert to one which feels safer to avoid yourself falling.
