I joined the DVCC following a heartbreak 💔 and a knock of confidence.

I was skeptical about how I was going to fit in working out alongside shift work, but the early morning sessions proved to fit in to my day nicely (although I'm almost always very grumpy at 6am - I leave 50 minutes later feeling a lot more alive!)

My aim initially was to get a "revenge body" but it turns out that I really enjoy the sessions and challenging my body, which is greatly assisted by the motivating and understanding trainers here.

My aim has now changed from that revenge body, into a personal goal to be strong, not skinny.

DVCC is the perfect environment for this and I am so glad that I stumbled across their advert on Facebook!

Both the trainers and the sessions have provided me with varied and challenging workouts, and the community of people who attend are non judgemental and equally supportive.

Finishing on my new favourite quote: "There is no better investment, than that into yourself".
